@dreadspark On the iPhone 2G it is close to impossible to separate or put together the glass and the lcd so you must purchase the complete screen. Take a look at IP-2085 at DirectFix com. We never sell just the touch panel or just the lcd for the iPhone 2G.

@SebastianG13 YES. The 3G will not work in the 2G unit and the 2G will not work in the 3G unit.

@KcKreicar No the iPhone 3G is easier to repair. Yes when you purchase the complete screen from DirectFix com we include the LCD and Touch Panel together. Look at part number IP-2085
